Vehicle Safari
A vehicle specially designed for safaris will take you to the Nagarhole National Park. The four-hour-long safari provides visitors with a good opportunity to watch herbivores. Sightings of predators are less frequent but improve considerably during the summer months. The park is also home to the largest congregation of Asian Elephants.

Morning: 05:15 AM to 10:00 AM

RULES & GUIDELINES
Boat Safari
The Kabini River separates the Nagarhole National Park from the Bandipur National Park. Going upstream on the Kabini river in a motorised boat, you get to visit both the parks. Besides the animals you get to watch during the vehicle safari, the boat safari also offers an opportunity to observe the Marsh Crocodile. This safari also takes you to places inaccessible by the vehicle.

Guided Nature Walk
A Naturalist-led guided walk conducted along the banks of the Kabini river and through the agricultural fields along village roads. As the area is rich in birdlife (with about 300 species recorded), the nature walk can be tailor-made for serious bird watchers.

Join our Naturalist to explore the nocturnal and surprising world of insects, amphibians and reptiles, in and around the resort.

BOOKING CHARGES
jungle tales
Listen to our naturalists as they share their experiences in the wild. Enjoy tales that seemingly scrape the sky but are, in fact, grounded in reality. Share your tales or silently take it all in.

Bullock Cart Ride
Take a break from your Audi and try something primaeval like a Bullock Cart Ride on the shores of the Kabini river. And if you listen closely, you might just listen to the folk songs the
Kurubas sing as they travel.

Coracle Ride
You will travel on a coracle - a traditional round-shaped boat, the design of which is unique to South Indian Rivers. The coracle will drift slowly down the Kabini river hugging the shoreline.
Timings: Morning: 09:00 AM to 11:00 AM
Evening: 04:00 PM to 06:00 PM
Children below 3 years are not permitted on the coracle rides

Sunset Cruise
Sunsets are not the same everywhere and the one at Kabini is not to be missed. Our motorized boat takes you on a cruise across River Kabini, as the sun sets in the distance. If you aren’t in love with hues of gold yet, you will be after this.

Documentaries on Wildlife
Films on Indian Wildlife by eminent filmmakers are shown every alternate evening thus enhancing your knowledge on wildlife.

Every alternate evening a troupe of Kuruba dancers perform their traditional dances to the accompaniment of two wooden drums and one wind instrument.

Spirit of Kabini
A guided visit to a Jenu Kuruba settlement near the resort. The Jenu Kurubas are indigenous to the region and have a unique culture and lifestyle. Guests can experience this first-hand through stories and personal interactions over a cup of Jaggery Kaapi (coffee) seasoned with ginger & pepper.
